My Name is Milton Anthony. On February 21, 1982, I was blown up by a bomb. This was no accident! The reason? I was national enforcer of a notorious, international motorcycle club that was at war with an equally notorious, larger international bike club.
The people in the club that I took my orders from sent me to a town in North Carolina with this directive. "Get rid of them maggots, we don't care how you do it!"
When I got to this town, I started work immediately. Now, I know you thought Dale Earnhart was "The Intimidator," but that was only because you didn't know me at that time. I was THE Intimidator! And I was very good at what I did.
To show you how bad I thought I was, I allowed myself to be enticed to come to a shutdown and boarded up bar for the pretense of "peace negotiations," with the other club.
The voice on the other end of the phone told me, "If you want to stop all the bloodshed, then you be behind this bar at 5 o'clock tomorrow morning. And don't bring nobody else with you."
But I did go to the bar. By myself. And when I got there and snuck up to the backside of it, I found nobody. What I did find was a beautifully hand-painted Harley-Davidson motorcycle gas tank sitting on top of a concrete block that somebody had turned up on its edge. My first thought was, "This must be some kind of a peace offering." My second thought was, "Boy! That shore would look good on my motorcycle." So, I walked over to it and picked it up.
Three and a half weeks later, I regained consciousness in the hospital.
According to a police report, the gas tank had a bomb in it which contained at least 6 sticks of dynamite.
